#9 - Taija Rae

Taija Rae was probably the cutest adult film star in the 80's. She seemed to be graced with just enough "baby fat" to keep from being called skinny, or overweight. She had a nice medium sized chest, and a perky behind that I always found pleasing. She did have a brief spell where she was a "hard body", which I think was in the mid-1980's, but I wouldn't characterize that as the high point in her career. At that point most of the films were being shot for video, and the genre was at it's low point historically.

She also worked during those odd mid-80's "glam years" where too much make-up and awful hair was the style of the day. I guess that was the 80's though, with leg-warmers and pseudo-punk pink highlights, but whenever I saw her in those outfits I always longed for the old Taija. She was still hot, but it's just a bizarre look into 80's fashion and weirdness. I can only hope drugs played a part in the awful choices in style back then.

Regardless of those minor blips Taija was a great performer, and liked to play the bad girl, or conniver fairly often. She had a few roles that placed her as ditz, but she had a nice comedic touch, and was a pretty decent actor.

#8 - Honey Wilder

It feels like Honey Wilder should come as a supplement to Kay Parker. Her best work always seemed to be done right along side my #1 star of all time, but she did have some truly great roles of her own. That's probably even short changing her a bit, she was a great actor and although her most memorable films for me may have been along side Kay Parker, her solo work was just as outstanding. Great Sexpectations, Wild Dallas Honey, Private Teacher, Sweet Alice, etc...all were great performances and films.

Honey Wilder was another older woman when she worked her way into the industry, and spent a lot of her time onscreen seducing younger men. She had a few roles in the "incest" movies that played well in the early 80's, but have seemingly disappeared in the interest of good taste. As the seductress she was always turning in amazing performances, whther she be the reluctant temptress, or the one going after the young man in earnest.

Phyisically she was quite thin, and maintained her shape very well throughout her career, and was quite busty although not in Kay Parker's league in that department. She had a slight accent (Texas maybe??) and like the others you will see in my top 10 list really always delivered as a performer and seemed to have a genuinely fun personality that came across in all her roles.

#6 - Elena Nikulina

Well, after a quick look at some more classic stars I'm going move back to the euro-stars. Certainly, as far as subsets of porn go, this is probably my favorite.

Elena Nikulina, I'll never forget the first time I came across one of her clips. It was on Deluxxepass.com, that's mega-site, that really isn't worth your money. Anyway, it certainly says something when you remember the name of the mega-site where you first stumbled upon a star.

Since then I have had plenty of time to check out her movies and clips, and I have to say I've been somewhat disappointed with the change in her looks, but I'm still completely enamored with the girl I stumbled upon in the first clip.

The Elena that appears in clips and movies now is probably a bit too tan, and a little too skinny as well. I generally prefer skinny stars, I really do, but some adult stars just carry weight better, and they look better with it. That's not to say she was carrying extra pounds before, she wasn't, she was skinny before she got toned. Like Taija Rae before her though, I think Elena is better served at a slightly heavier weight than she's currently at.

Like Anita Blonde she appears in a lot of non-English movies, but nevertheless she's worth checking out as often as possible. I really think she's one of the most beautiful starlets I have come across, and she has a cute mole abover her lip. A perfect 10 now, and she was better before.

Anyway, if you stumble upon the wrong scene you're probably going to think I'm out of mind, but if you see a clip of her on a copier, well, you'll see why I ranked her so high.

#5 - Joanna Storm

Yes the golden oldies keep on coming. In case you haven't figured it out yet, which you probably have, I have a preference for the older starlets which is probably a bit odd considering my young age. I'm a sucker for those plot driven movies though.

Storm was a thin, attactive blonde adult star that appeared in a good number of films and often played the role of the "ditzy blonde," certainly not always, but quite often. She was another in the list thus far that had some decent acting abilities, especially in comedies.

Her must memorable role may have been as the muse in the second "Devil in Miss Jones," (a hilarious scene where she plays a military officer busted with her commanding officer) but she maintained a decent career even beyond that starring role. Private Teacher, Erotic City, etc...were all great films that should exceed any fans expectations.

Although she was thin, she had a nice toned body that was perfectly proportioned.

#4 - Christy Canyon

The three stages of Christy Canyon. She started out young and skinny, and had a picture perfect face and body. After she took a brief hiatus she returned as a newer, slightly overweight star. Finally we had the skinny, very tanned Christy in the early 90's that featured a more mature look, but was still wrapped in a dynamite package. I honestly don't know if I could pick a favorite. Even the heavier version of Christy that appeared in films like 'On Trial' with Savannah was a wonder to behold on screen.

One of the amazing things about her career is that she worked with almost all of my favorite starlets throughout the 80's and 90's. The early part of her career had her working in the "golden age" of porn, and the end saw her working at the same times as beauties like Nikki Dial, Jenteal and Savannah. She has probably the best "career" of any actress going and still does a call in show and operates a web site. (Please make one more comeback Christy!!)

Christy was certainly graced with a chest that will always be conisdered the best, or at least one of the best that ever appeared in adult films (36DD). She was featured in over 200 flicks and although they vary greatly in quality, each and every one is probably worth seeing because of her alone. She also appeared in some that you'll never be able to see now because she co-starred with the infamous Traci Lords, and unless you travel abroad you won't have any luck finding those films via legal means.

Regardless of which version of Christy is your favorite you'll have plenty of chances to see her.

#3 - Anita Blonde

Anita Blonde is a foreign born starlet (Hungary) who I don't believe appeared in any "American" films. She did however have an all-too-short career making films with the likes of Marc Dorcel, and Private before exiting the business around 2001. In my opinion she was the most most exquisite combination of beauty and body that ever appeared in adult films. She had long legs, a more than ample busom, and a face that was almost disturbing in its perfection.

It will always defy my comprehension why someone that looked like that, and had that body could do adult film work. I'm not knocking the job, I clearly think it's a nice service they provide, but in my mind she is just head and shoulders above anyone else that ever appeared in adult flicks. The only reason she's not number 1 is because virtually all of her movies are in a different language.

It isn't the worst thing ever, but since they are plot based films it's kind of off-putting to not know what they are saying most of the time. Perhaps I should have learned French.....

Even with her relatively short career Anita Blonde has plenty of scenes you can find and movies you can still purchase with ease. She was easily one of the most popular stars of the new millenium.

#1 - Kay Parker

Kay Parker was the woman that defined MILF before that was even a term used on a daily basis to describe any woman over the age of 27. I believe the first film I ever saw starring Kay Parker was 'Taboo', a movie which touched off approximately 830 sequels with each one being worse than the last, at least after the second one.

Her body type certainly doesn't fit the mold of many of the adult stars that have followed, but she was also much older than most when she first hit the scene (in her 30's). She had an alluring voice, perfect breasts for her age (38DD), and an ability to act that most adult stars never could match. She played the older woman with a style and dignity that was more befitting the big screen than a pornographic video. Her typical role was that of the older, seductive woman, with a younger man, and she played it perfectly each time making every young man's fantasies take on a form outside of their own imagination.

More importantly she has quite a resume appearing in enough films to make any true fan happy. Many of them were superb, with only a few true duds. She even appeared in the anniversary edition of Taboo, and still looks quite attractive.
I don't know how well she would fair in today's market, but at the time, in the late 1970's she was the perfect adult star. She seemed attainable in a way that many adult star do not, and she was just plain fun to watch.

The inclusion of Honey Wilder in this one really pushes it above the first in my opinion. The two of them are dynamic together, and the plot is pretty much a rehash of the first film except she's now dealing with an attraction to her other son.

Worst Film: Spectators
The movie's plot was fairly bland, and worst of all it looks like some poorly made home video. Two kids in a garage could get better production values than this.
